On behalf of CNTA and CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao, Wei Hongtao conveyed warm congratulations on the opening of the visa center and said, “Kazakhstan and China have been close neighbors, partners and friends since ancient times. Tourism cooperation is key part of our bilateral pragmatic cooperation and people-to-people exchange and the best way to cement people-to-people bond. International experience has shown that the visa policy plays a big role in the inbound tourism market. The opening of the visa center represents the efforts Kazakhstan has made to make it easier for Chinese citizens to visit Kazakhstan. We highly appreciate that. I hope that we will work together to roll out more conveniences for two-way visits between us and bring our tourism cooperation to a new level.”
Mr. Kamaldinov said, “The visa center will make it easier for Chinese citizens to visit Kazakhstan and create huge opportunities for our bilateral tourism cooperation. We look forward to more close partnership with China and welcome more Chinese people to Kazakhstan. We will see the visa policy through, provide high-quality tourist services and create a safe, convenient and comfortable travel environment for Chinese tourists.”
At the inauguration ceremony, Kazakh ethnic dances and songs were staged to entertain the 200-plus audience including representatives of Chinese and Kazakhstani tourism authorities, tourism companies and airline companies. The ceremony was followed by a tour around the visa center. (CTNEWS)
