Due to Egon volcano eruption, some Chinese tourists are stranded in Bali, Indonesia. On November 30, 2017, Li Jinzao, Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) once again requested China’s overseas tourist offices, tourism departments and relevant travel enterprises all over the country to follow the instructions of Premier Li Keqiang and help the safe and orderly return of those tourists to China.

CNTA has issued an urgent notice, requiring tourism administrations across the country to investigate all travel agencies again to further verify the situation about the Chinese tourists stranded in Bali, requiring the managers of the travel agencies in concern to take substantial responsibility for helping the tourists settle down and then return home, and requiring the overseas travel offices to keep in touch China’s embassy and consulate in Indonesia as well as the Indonesian tourism department, and to facilitate information communication and related service delivery.
